What this one is for
This is the smallest thing we make, and it exists because a pedestal basin wastes its own footprint. The floor on either side is usable, but only by something narrow and short enough to clear the basin rim. The drawer takes the daily handful, razor, comb, hair ties, and the cupboard underneath takes the refills that would otherwise sit on the cistern.
The footprint is square, 11.8 inches each way, and it stands 31.5 inches tall, which is nightstand height. That is why plenty of these never reach a bathroom at all: the same proportions work beside a bed or at the end of a hallway. In black it holds its outline against a pale wall instead of merging into the skirting.
