The tall models with a stated depth measure between 11.4 and 11.8 inches, which is a little under a foot. That is deliberate: it is enough for folded towels and bottles laid front to back, and shallow enough that a room door still swings past. Where a listing does not state a depth, this site leaves it blank rather than assuming the family measurement applies.

Yes, in steam. No, in standing water. The laminate face sheds condensation and wipes dry, which covers normal bathroom use with a working extractor. What kills it is a slow leak under a basin or a cabinet standing in a puddle after a shower with no screen. Keep the base dry and the cabinet outlasts the room.

It is the rating for one shelf, not for the whole cabinet. A six-shelf tower rated to 25 lb is not rated to 150 lb. Load the heavy items in the lowest bay, keep the top shelf light, and the anti-tip fixing has much less work to do.

On anything tall, yes. A cabinet that is nearly six feet high on a foot-deep base is stable empty and much less stable loaded, and an open door with a child on it is enough to tip one. Fix the strap into a stud or use an anchor rated for the loaded weight rather than the plastic plug supplied for solid walls.

A small cabinet is under an hour with a screwdriver. A 67-inch tower or a four-door pantry is closer to two, and it is much easier with a second pair of hands for the moment the carcass is stood upright. Build it in the room where it will stand: several models cannot be turned through a doorway once assembled.
