What this one is for
Every other cabinet treats a pedestal basin as an obstacle to stand next to. This one goes around it. The back panel is cut away in a U, so the column sits inside the notch and the cabinet claims the floor on both sides of it at once, which is the only part of a small bathroom that nobody ever manages to use.
Behind the two doors there are two shelves, fixed rather than movable, because at this size a moving shelf buys nothing and loses rigidity on a frame with a bite taken out of the back. Check the width of your basin column and the depth from wall to pipework before ordering: the notch has to clear both, and plumbing of that age is rarely where the drawings say.
