What this one is for
Drawers change what rattan is good for. Behind a woven door everything is half visible, which rules out socks, cables and the general contents of a bedroom. Put those in the two drawers and leave the open storage for what deserves to be seen, and the piece works in a room where a plain cabinet would look like a filing unit.
The frame is MDF with rattan panels, so the drawer runners have something solid to sit in, which is where cheaper woven furniture fails first. Adjustable shelving above. Natural rattan warms slightly over the first year in direct sun, evenly across a panel, so a piece that starts pale settles into a deeper tone and stays there.
