Where it goes. A wall that needs both a low surface and a tall cupboard at once

What this one is for

Buying a matching pair separately usually goes wrong, because finishes drift between production batches and two cabinets bought a year apart never quite agree. This set ships together in the same black, so the run reads as one piece of furniture rather than two that happen to be next to each other.

The buffet brings a clear top with open shelving under it; the floor cabinet brings a deep drawer and a shelf behind a door. Between them that covers both kinds of storage a living or dining room asks for — the things that should be to hand, and the things that should be shut away. It is the sensible choice when the alternative is filling a wall with three unrelated units bought over two years.
